Company and Mission TPV Compound is a company leader in the production and marketing of PVC compounds. Research and Development of new materials, especially in collaboration with our customers, is our point of excellence. The wide range of compound grades and the wide variety of packaging types underline the attention to service that distinguishes TPV from its competitors. Moreover, TPV Mechanical Division realizes extruders and extrusion lines. Our Mission can be summarized as: "rapid solutions and timely assistance". History 1962 - TPV is created as a business idea. It soon becomes a benchmark for the rigid compound market. 1989-2009 - Growing over the decades by seizing the opportunities presented by its acquisitions first by EVC and then INEOS, TPV becomes "market leader" for medical and flexible items in general within the compound field. January 2009 - TPV joins the Sartor Group and it is now defined as the leading Italian Business Company of PVC compounds with a strong undercurrent of international management that is the result of 20 years of multinational management. Products: above 3.000 compounds for all PVC applications. Customers: more than 700 worldwide. Products TPV Compound is the leader in the formulation and production of PVC compounds for extrusion and injection moulding applications. We can offer a wide range of formulations and colours in a wide variety of batch dimensions. TPV ensures that all our compounds are formulated in compliance with the current regulations of both the EU and the main non-EU markets. CONSTRUCTION : PVC is a polymer used in the building industry for ecological purposes (for example saving energy) thanks to its excellent thermal insulation and weathering properties. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. All our compounds are lead free (RoHS Regulation). CABLES : TPV has a long-experience in the formulation of specific products for cables used in a variety of applications (electric cables, telecommunications, automotive and special cables), according to REACh Regulation (1907/2006/CE) and to the main European and American Standards ( DIN VDE, IEC, BS, CEI, UL). MEDICAL : TPV Compound offers a wide range of PVC compounds for medical applications, in accordance with European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.1.1 - 3.1.1.2 and US Pharmacopoeia USP class VI. A complete range of DEHP/DOP free compounds is available. PACKAGING AND FILM : We have at your disposal high performance PVC compounds for extrusion blow moulding of PVC for bottles and film, with excellent durability, mechanical and self-extinguishing properties, UV resistance and resistant to chemical agents. The products are available in crystal, matt and translucent colours. Our compounds are in compliance with the current European Foodstuff Regulations. HOSE AND TUBING : We offer PVC compounds for flexible hoses and tubing suitable for carrying air and fluids, with or without high impact reinforcement. They are resistant to chemical agents, weather conditions and are self-extinguishing in the case of fire. Standards: UL 94 (V0), UNI 7140, CEI 20-11 and the current Foodstuff Regulations. SPECIALTIES : Special range of compounds developed to upgrade the aesthetic and intrinsic properties of PVC, used in the building industry. TPV Mechanical Division TPV Mechanical Division, established in 1957, designing and manufacturing machinery for the extrusion of profiles and pipes in rigid or flexible PVC and other thermoplastic materials. The challenge we face is to develop specialized machinery, tailor-made to meet our customers' highest needs. Certifications Our Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2000 certified. TPV operates with the management system for Health and Safety in the workplace, certified Level 6 in compliance with the standard IRS 6.4 DNV. On 03/07/2007 our company joined the "Responsible Care®" program sponsored in Italy by Federchimica.This program attests the voluntary commitment of the Chemical Industry worldwide to implement principles and behaviour regarding staff health, safety and environmental protection. It also attests the commitment to communicate achieved results in order to work towards a continuous, meaningful and tangible improvement. On 03/07/2007 TPV Compound joined the "Compounds Group" within the PVC Information Centre, an authority collecting several producers of PVC Compound committed to promoting behaviour in compliance with sustainable development criteria and with the REACh European regulation on chemical materials usage. The "G PVC Compound" trademark, guaranteeing the quality and sustainability of the PVC compound, was created to safeguard the manufacturer and consumer, to promote its quality respecting current regulations and to guarantee operating procedures which protect both health and the environment.
